摘 要:本文采用激光器、光調(diào)制器、可編程光纖延時(shí)陣列及光探測(cè)器等構(gòu)成了新型的微波光纖延遲線系統(tǒng),對(duì)系統(tǒng)的發(fā)射、傳輸和接收三個(gè)組成模塊進(jìn)行了理論分析,建立了各模塊及系統(tǒng)的數(shù)學(xué)模型,對(duì)系統(tǒng)的傳輸特性和時(shí)延特性進(jìn)行了仿真。結(jié)果表明,此類微波光纖延遲線可視為線性系統(tǒng)。并采用矢量網(wǎng)絡(luò)分析儀對(duì)系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行了實(shí)測(cè),幅頻特性和相頻特性在合理頻帶范圍內(nèi)均接近于理想情況,群時(shí)延測(cè)量結(jié)果與理論計(jì)算一致,延時(shí)精度達(dá)到10 ps以內(nèi)。

Analysis and measurement of delay property for programmable
microwave fiber delay line

Abstract:This paper presents a novel microwave fiber delay line system made up of a laser diode, an optical modulator, a programmable fiber delay array based on optical switches and a photoelectric detector. The emitting module, transfer module and receiving module are analyzed theoretically; the models of individual modules and the system are built. Simulation results of transmission property and delay property show that the system is linear. Measured by a vector network analyzer, the amplitude-frequency characteristics and phase-frequency characteristics of the system are both close to ideal condition in a reasonable frequency range. The measurement results of group delay accord with theoretical calculation compley. The time delay precision of the microwave fiber delay line is within 10 ps.
